El Amo is a moving story about the need to love and the risks it exposes us to. A proposal that has two levels of reading: an approach on the surface about a vampire story, where humour is very present. And a second level that proposes a reinterpretation of the myth of the beautiful and the question of whether it is possible to change for love.
The creation is based on a profound work of technical experimentation at the service of a narrative without words. The research has permeated both the dramaturgical and interpretative spheres, in search of the most accurate, precise and eloquent gestures.
Synopsis
Veronica starts working as a secretary for a tortured writer who lives far from the world, with the only company of his devoted servant.
She feels a great fascination for him and his work, which prevents her from appreciating what lies behind his sullen character and his sometimes strange behaviour. By the time she discovers this, it may be too late. There are depths to which it is better not to descend.
